it is indeed not that surprising that tether is such a huge gold buyer i have had this theory and instict, that at some point the money will rotate from gold to bitcoin, i wasn't able to figure out which money would it be (i was thinking etfs) now i think, the xaut to btc trade will happen as that money is on the rails, that is composable and easiest to rotate, and is most fluid than even tradfi money
