I’ve been in crypto for over a decade. I’ve seen all these come and go. Crypto is not ready to have a real conversation about all these useless zombie chains that still hold billions in mcaps.
As long as CEXs choose to support vaporware, casinos and straight up crime coins this space will not mature. It will continue to be a deceptive middlemen mass extraction market. Where the insiders and marketleaders win and the people lose.
- Who still remembers iota would be used to pay automatically in parking garages?
- That neo was the chinese ethereum?
- That stratis would easily hit 100$?
- That verge would conquer the porn-industry?
Thinking back to these previous times, and all these sh*tcoins....damn....truly a miracle crypto got away with creating so much garbage for that long 🤣.
Only thanks to bitcoin existing and buying build this resiliently is this space able to survive, if not this entire space would probably be at risk of disappearing once bankers deploy their own blockchains
