I also love how ENS is flexible - @Uniswap gives free subdomains tied to the wallet with uni.eth - @base runs a subscription model with their basenames with a builder profile connected to them - with @farcaster_xyz when you create your account you can choose to use your second level .eth or you can use one of their farcaster ID’s as your handle Same protocol, different ways to integrate it
If you are a web3 project waiting for a formal invitation to integrate ENS, this is it. One name should work everywhere. ENS is already the standard in web3, use it instead of siloed usernames. Let your users bring the ENS name they already have, or offer them a subname from your project’s .eth. You can even import your DNS into ENS and offer subnames there. Same functionality, better UX, works across the entire ecosystem.
