Huobi executives meet face-to-face|Huobi HTX asset head Jasper explains the rules of high-quality asset capture in detail

Recently, Huobi HTX's newly listed assets have performed well, especially $TREE (Treehouse) quickly rushed to the platform's hot list after its launch on July 29, with a 6-fold increase on the first day, attracting market attention and heated discussions.

On August 7, Jasper, head of Huobi HTX's asset department, was invited to attend the third episode of "Huobi Executive Face-to-Face", and responded in detail to questions from X, the community and HTX DAO members on topics such as Huobi HTX's new asset screening mechanism and key indicators of "long-term bull potential stocks".

New asset screening mechanism: rigorous evaluation to capture high-quality potential stocks

In order to capture potential high-quality assets as much as possible, Huobi HTX has established a sound research and evaluation system.

According to Jasper, for projects that have been listed on exchanges, Huobi HTX will focus on their follow-up development and evaluate whether the project is continuing to advance; For projects that have not yet been issued, a number of key indicators on the chain will be comprehensively referenced during the evaluation process, including position distribution, on-chain activity, whether there are vulnerabilities or backdoor risks in smart contracts, and the reasonableness of project valuation, etc., to ensure that the selected projects have good potential and security.

"Huobi HTX will track and lock in potential projects that may be issued up to a year in advance, and determine whether they are eligible for listing through two to three rounds of in-depth evaluation. Latitude includes project team background, investment institutions, tracks, anti-money laundering, KYC, contract security, actual operation progress, relevant traffic data, product overview, community popularity, social media reputation, economic model, chip distribution, whether the on-chain data is true, etc., and uses data platforms such as RootData, Glassnode, and CertiK to verify the security of on-chain data and contracts to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the data. ”

Jasper emphasized that the key to judging the potential of the project's "long bull" lies in the rigid nature of its track. For example, projects related to DeFi and infrastructure, such as AAVE, UNI, LINK, and TRX, truly meet the core needs of the industry and have stable turnover and profitability, so they are regarded as rigid products and have promising long-term performance. On the contrary, those projects that rely on packaging concepts, false data, or pseudo-demand speculation will be identified and screened out in a timely manner through the evaluation system.

Jasper said that such rigorous screening ensures that more than 90% of key projects are not missed. Even so, for some projects with extremely high market popularity but unsatisfactory overall valuation and market feedback, such as "PUMP" assets, Huobi HTX will decisively refuse to go online, because this is essentially a gamble, and it is better to miss it than to blindly chase higher. "Since the beginning of this year, Huobi HTX has successfully avoided at least three explosion projects, which fully proves the reliability of this evaluation system."

Explore the layers of asset observation and innovation to support community engagement and transparent investment

In order to enhance the community's sense of participation and information transparency, Huobi HTX is also actively exploring innovative mechanisms such as "asset watch list" and "trial operation area".

Jasper revealed that the essence of the voting recommendation initiated by HTX DAO is an observation area, and DAO community members can vote to recommend and review potential projects, becoming an important addition to the official screening process. At the same time, Huobi HTX opened an innovation zone section in the second quarter of this year, which is dedicated to showcasing early-stage projects or meme coins with low certainty and high volatility. The main area is reserved for more mature and high-quality assets, helping users choose between different risk appetites.

During the live broadcast, Jasper admitted that no exchange can guarantee that every listed project will have excellent performance, even leading platforms such as Binance and Upbit.

"The exchange is just a place to provide asset circulation, only charging reasonable fees in the middle, and will not control the rise and fall of the currency. The price fluctuation of tokens is affected by multiple factors such as the strength of the project team, market-making strategies, economic models, market sentiment, community popularity, market trends, and valuation rationality. Investors must do sufficient research, make rational judgments, and be responsible for their decisions before entering the market. ”
