ngl this is actually a terrible take. opening 3.33x levered short on this basically means you gonna get your short leg liquidated on a ~30% move up which is actually a pretty probably scenario. also whatever whatever allocation you get is completely unrelated to your short position because the tokens are fully unlocked, you can just FSH it if you want.

The sale will need roughly $25M to reach the ceiling if everyone bids and no extra demand. If the auction reaches higher, than we'll start seeing people filled at the $1bn FDV mark, with a total of $50M to be filled.
What should you do?
- Pay attention to how the bids are going, and how much capital is allocated. You can play around this depending on demand and % probability.
What should you do after you get your allocation?
- Use 3.33x less capital to open a short position on Hyper Liquid with 3x leverage for a currently (5x, assuming you get highest mcap interest)
eg. If you get filled in presale for 100k @ 1bn FDV. You can open up a 33k short (with good margin) to lock in a free 5x.
I'm personally going to wait until I get a presale allocation filled before opening any positions.
