Solana Agggregator Wars:
What happened? (explained like you’re 10)
Titan, a newer meta-agg (aggregator of aggregators), claims 70-80% win rates vs. Jupiter/DFlow
Oct 17:
@DFlowProtocol accuses @Titan_Exchange of using fresher data for its own routes while rate-limiting others. DFlow requests to be removed from Titan
Oct 24:
@JupiterExchange accuses @Titan_Exchange of showing old Metis quotes as “Jupiter,” ghosting API partnership requests, and ignoring fixes
Oct 25:
@Titan_Exchange stating to use standard Metis binary not Ultra (like most platforms)
Who is right?
Titan has never included Jupiter Ultra V3 or the latest Jupiter API. While Ultra mode costs 10 BPS on some pairs, it likely offers the strongest MEV protection in crypto
If you compare Jupiter Ultra mode with Titan there is a chance that Titan could SHOW slightly better quotes (differences are tiny: 0.005-0.5bps). In manual mode, the prices are nearly identical, with a slight advantage for Jupiter
The price Titan shows for Jupiter is actually lower than what you really get on Jupiter (because of old Metis)
However, the most crucial aspect for comparisons is the executed prices, which can slightly differ from the quoted prices during a swap. While all the comparison screenshots are cool, they are actually useless...
Imo Titan is a cool product, and I'm all for more competition. However, their quotes and comparisons can be misleading, especially for beginners
Disclaimer: I'm neither being paid by Jupiter nor Titan
